International Occupational Health & Safety Association (IOHSA) training adheres to the internationally accepted guidelines established by ILCOR*, the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation Circulation (2020 Consensus Conference on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science)
This curriculum is equivalent and follows the same guidelines taught by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Lifeguard Association (ALA), Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI), EMS Safety Services, American CPR, Health & Safety Institute (HSI), American Health & Safety Institute (ASHI), MEDIC First Aid, and National Safety Council (NSC).
International Occupational Health & Safety Association (IOHSA) training adheres to OSHA regulations 29 CFR Directives, "OSHA Best Practices Guide: Fundamentals of a Workplace First-Aid Program", and United States Department of Labor requirements for CPR and First Aid Training.
OSHA Compliant! This up-to-date Bloodborne Pathogens course covers universal precautions, the risks and types of infectious diseases contracted through exposure, and the proper safeguards to prevent exposure as well as proper methods of handling potential contaminants. The course meets and exceeds 29CFR 1910.1030 guideline requirements.
*ILCOR has members and task force representatives from the American Heart Association (AHA), the International Occupational Health & Safety Association (IOHSA), the International Red Cross Society, the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC), the Inter American Heart Foundation (IAHF), the Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation (ANZCOR), the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa (RCSA) and the Resuscitation Council of Asia.
