International Occupational Health & Safety Association (IOHSA) training adheres to the internationally accepted guidelines established by ILCOR*, the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation Circulation (2015 Consensus Conference on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science)
This curriculum is equivalent and follows the same guidelines taught by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Lifeguard Association (ALA), Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI), EMS Safety Services, American CPR, Health & Safety Institute (HSI), American Health & Safety Institute (ASHI), MEDIC First Aid, and National Safety Council (NSC).
International Occupational Health & Safety Association (IOHSA) training adheres to OSHA regulations 29 CFR Directives, "OSHA Best Practices Guide: Fundamentals of a Workplace First-Aid Program", and United States Department of Labor requirements for CPR and First Aid Training.
2015 ECC / ILCOR / AHA Compliant! This course is designed to build competence and confidence in Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and provide maintenance and program guidance for facilities with AEDs. The online course includes information about today's currently manufactured AEDs and allows students to view their specific model of AED and understand the difference between semi-automatic and automatic AEDs. The course also includes training on special AED situations.
