This curriculum is equivalent and follows the same guidelines taught by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Lifeguard Association (ALA), Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI), EMS Safety Services, American CPR, Health & Safety Institute (HSI), American Health & Safety Institute (ASHI), MEDIC First Aid, and National Safety Council (NSC).

Course Description:

2020 ECC / ILCOR / AHA Compliant! This course is designed to build competence and confidence in Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and provide maintenance and program guidance for facilities with AEDs. The online course includes information about today's currently manufactured AEDs and allows students to view their specific model of AED and understand the difference between semi-automatic and automatic AEDs. The course also includes training on special AED situations.
